Overview

The Titan Power Bar brings dedicated powerlifting geometry to a price that opens up the category to budget-conscious lifters. The 29mm shaft is stiff, the way a power bar should be, so it stays planted under a loaded squat and resists whip on heavy deadlifts. Knurling is aggressive with a center knurl, mirroring the layout of much more expensive competition bars; the bite is genuine and gives confident grip on max-effort pulls and presses, while the center knurl helps keep the bar fixed across the back during squats. Single power knurl marks reflect its powerlifting focus. The bar uses a zinc finish, which provides decent corrosion resistance and a more muted look than chrome; zinc can wear at high-contact points over time but holds up reasonably for home use. Bushing sleeves are the correct choice here, since spin is irrelevant for slow grinding lifts. The tensile rating is respectable for the price and covers the loads of beginner to intermediate powerlifters with margin. It will not match the precision knurl or longevity of a premium stainless power bar, and the zinc finish demands a bit of care, but as an entry into serious powerlifting bars it offers remarkable value well under 200 dollars.
