MSRP is a reference figure — live price is on the retailer's site.
The Concept2 Dynamic takes the company's familiar air flywheel and reworks the geometry so that the footplate moves while the seat stays comparatively still. The result is a stroke that loads up faster and feels closer to sweeping a boat across water, which is why crews use it for land training when they want a transfer that carries back to the shell. Because the rower's own mass is light and the handle accelerates quickly, the catch is sharper and the recovery is faster than on the standard RowErg, demanding cleaner technique to row well. The same PM5 monitor sits up front, delivering the accurate pace, watts and stroke-rate data Concept2 is known for, with Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity for apps and heart-rate monitors. The machine stands upright on its end for storage, which keeps the floor footprint small relative to its length when in use. It is a specialist tool rather than a first rower: the price is higher, the air noise is still present, and beginners may find the quick stroke unforgiving. For rowers chasing on-water carryover or for clubs simulating racing conditions, though, it is a purpose-built and very well made choice.
